Fix the Little Things

November 10, 2015

Hand on Face WomanWouldn’t it be great to follow every recommendation? Whether it comes from the latest study, your doctor, or accepted folk wisdom. But, as with many things, you might be surprised how many things are slipping past you each day.

While you may focus on the big things: hand washing, resting when you’re sick, getting a daily multivitamin, cold and flu season is a time of year where you really get hit by the things you miss.

Counter each of these little problems in case they’re your weak link:

Are you a Face-Toucher? Whether you rest your head on your hands while you type, absently wipe/scratch/adjust, or have never thought about it before, you’d be shocked at the germs you’re transferring. Your eyes, nose, and mouth are high risk points for catching an infection.

Tackle it three ways: support your immune system with colloidal silver, get a spray to tackle everything you’re spreading to your face, and take a probiotic to support healthy, good bacteria groups (they exist on your skin as well as in your GI Tract).

Can’t Put Your Phone Down? It can lead to distraction, and poor sleep.

Fight it on two fronts: boost your focus during the day with support from MesoGold. Then, supplement with the melatonin you’re missing out on at night with our Sleep Support pack. A good night’s sleep is important for your immune system—so don’t miss out!

Ignoring the Dry Weather? Dry weather allows flu and other illnesses to spread more easily. It can also make it easier to get dehydrated—cracked skin, and the tired, sluggishness from not having enough water.

Fix It: Run a humidifier, support your immune system against the extra ickies, and keep yourself hydrated by sipping water throughout the day.

What other little things get to you during the winter?
