Fill the Gaps in Your Diet

August 30, 2018

Researchers regularly pull apart the American diet. Although it’s gotten better over the years, it’s still far from being “good”. There’s lots of sugar, lots of fat, and lots of salt in most meals you aren’t preparing yourself.

The problem isn’t just what you eat, it’s what you’re surrounded by. The messages, the options, the trends. For example, many gluten free foods (especially for children) have a much higher sugar content than their counterparts. And if you’re not getting a large assortment of fruits and vegetables at each meal, there’s a good chance you’re missing out on some key (or at least strongly beneficial) nutrients.

Make sure you’re filling those gaps each day with a high-quality daily multivitamin, like Vita One. A good multivitamin is a safety net for even the best attempts at a healthy diet, making sure that your body has everything it needs to run properly and then some.

Having a daily multivitamin can help give you balance. Not just against holes in your diet, but against feeling a need to go overboard on superfoods. You can have too much of a good thing, whether it’s falling back on something safe (even though there are so many different superfoods) or using a known entity to fill a gap (like eating too many beans when you’re avoiding meat). When you start your day with a solid foundation of a large variety of nutrients, it’s easier to build the rest of your diet.

When you’re getting the nutrients you need, you will start to notice little differences. Better energy (not just more energy, but a more stable energy), better mood, and a better sense of overall well-being.

Don’t go another day without making sure you’re getting the nutrients you need. Get a safety net for your diet with Vita One.
