Introducing: Mito Cardia

July 19, 2011

Fight Free Radicals & Aging!Mito Cardia is specifically formulated to support cellular health and metabolism with the ratios of nutrients that cells need!

With Vitamins C & E, as well as Coenzyme Q10, acetyl-L-carnitine (the more easily absorbed form of L-carnitine) and alpha -lipoic acid, Mito Cardia is designed with the nutrients and their cofactors that support cellular health.

This extra bit of antioxidant support found in Mito Cardia may help fight signs of cellular aging, including cellular aging from oxidative stress caused by free radicals.

What are Mitochondria?

Each cell has hundreds to thousands of mitochondria, whose job is to generate energy for cells—and the body—to use. Unfortunately, in producing energy mitochondria also produce free radicals which cause damage that builds up over time (a part of the aging process). Cellular aging can accumulate, leading to adverse health affects, including mitochondria functioning less efficiently.

Although the exact relationship between mitochondria, the aging process, and oxidative stress is still the subject of extensive studies, one thing is clear: the older you get, the more free radicals and oxidative stress takes a toll on mitochondria (causing mutations), which can have numerous effects, particularly neurological.

Antioxidants support cellular function, including the repair or removal of damaged cells and cell waste. Antioxidants may help to reverse the aging process.

Of course, daily multivitamins aren’t the only way to fight aging! Eating right and exercising the body and mind are also hugely important!

What other steps do you take to fight the aging process?
