You may know that nano silver was what was used to purify drinking water on the space station. Now, nano-colloidal silver is being used to make water drinkable in areas where water is a scarce resource.
Recently, the Industrial Technology Development Institute has developed a cheap, efficient, and stable water system based on nano silver.
This system works by filtering water through a clay pot lined with nano silver . Nano silver is well known for its antimicrobial properties. It’s effective at killing bacteria, viruses, and fungi.
The water can then be used via a tap. It’s simple, and its cost-effective nature makes it ideal for areas that lack potable water.
There are others who are making water filters based around the antimicrobial properties of colloidal silver. Nano silver coating is also bringing germ-resistant surfaces into the home, as well as hospitals.
Have you seen any products using the antimicrobial products of silver?
