Another Mild Winter

January 24, 2013

Adult Female TickDespite the horrible flu season, this has been another mild winter for most of the country. So, expect the same consequences: more insect eggs surviving.

More mosquitoes means more West Nile Virus next summer, more ticks means more Lyme Disease. If it builds on last years numbers, this summer could be especially bad.

If flu season has been bad for you, or you’ve run into one of the many other viruses running around right now, start strengthening your immune system now for what’s to come in the bug-hatching summer months.

Catch up on your sleep—maybe you’ve been working diligently on your New Year’s wish, or maybe you’ve been caught in bad habits, but a lack of sleep can dramatically impact your immune system. For example, if you’ve tried to protect yourself from Influenza with a flu shot, a lack of sleep will make the shot even less effective.

Eat healthy. For an optimum functioning immune system, nutrients need to be available for your cells to function at their peak. Plus, a healthy diet supports a healthy weight, which has numerous health and safety benefits.

Try a supplement that supports the immune like MesoSilver colloidal silver. Colloidal silver supports the immune system—it’s made of nano sized particles of pure silver suspended in water. It’s non-ionic, which according to cellular studies shows that the silver clears through the body better.

Has your area taken any steps to stop the spread of insects such as spraying, removing still water, etc.?
