If you’re starting new adventures, or changing old habits, you might want some extra immune support.
While it may be tempting to grab the flashy packaged Vitamin C and D combo off the check-out line shelf, if you’re already taking a high-quality daily multivitamin, you probably don’t need it! (If you do, you have bigger problems).
What do you need? Having already covered common gaps in self care like getting enough sleep, nutrition, and exercise, it may be time to add something extra, like colloidal silver immune support.
Medicinal silver has been around since Hippocrates. Colloidal silver was replaced in the 20th century by antibiotics because of cost (antibiotics were cheap to make—these days, it’s much more affordable, and even, potentially, very easily and even profitably harvested at water treatment plants, so even the environmental cost is low.
Colloidal silver is available to anyone not allergic to silver (most already know if they’re allergic based on experiences with jewelry). A true colloid (whether silver or gold) is made of pure particles suspended in water (suspended is the key word here—you’ll see light reflect off the particles, coloring the liquid. Ionic particles dissolve, and won’t reflect light—so as an informed consumer, always look for that dark color! Cold weather/refrigeration can also break the suspension, so keep it room temperature in your cabinet).
Nano silver (another name for Colloidal Silver) has tons of other applications, too, including reducing infections in hospital catheters and other devices, hospital rooms, in wound dressings (especially for burns), and more. Other countries are really where the research has been, and the studies have all been promising (basically, all good news but needing more studies, as everything does).
Colloidal silver makes great daily immune support, or a great boost starting when you get that first tinge of illness, or when you want to tackle your sinus mucus with a sinus flood.
Support your immune system through all the changes this year will bring—whether they’re fun new adventures, or just tweaking daily habits!
