Stress comes from everywhere. It could be that you’ve got too many things taking up mental energy (and they could even be GOOD things!), or it could be some really hard balls thrown your way. Either way, combatting stress is something everyone has to face!
Ideally, you want to prevent stress. It causes premature ageing (from the inside out), short-term health problems like stomach troubles, and even long term health problems like an increased cancer risk.
There are really 2 basic ways to stop stress before it starts:
-Keep your ducks in a row (avoiding the problems that cause stressful situations),
and
-Meditate (or find your happy place) so that when stress does arise, you’re ready to handle it!
But prevention is rarely 100%. So when stress does crop up, here are some of our favorite ways to get through it:
-Don’t let skin problems make it worse.
Do you break out under pressure? Inflamed skin can really knock your confidence, and make stress worse (and absolutely, though small there is an overall physical effect to having to combat those tiny infections). Help support your skin to get rid of breakouts faster with colloidal silver—inside and out.
And support skin being firm—don’t get caught in a loop of, “stress is bad, stress causes wrinkles, I’m Stressed ABOUT STRESS!” Know that you’re taking natural steps to support firm skin by including colloidal copper in your daily skincare regime.
-When it’s crunch time, cheat a little with extra neuro support. Colloidal gold may help focus, memory, and other mental faculties so that you can power through anything!
-Maintain good habits—or have a safety net, at least! “Stress eating” is a well-known term for a reason. Make sure you’re not making things harder on yourself and be sure you have the daily nutritional support you need by taking a multivitamin.
-And take care of other stress symptoms, like tension. Whether you carry it in your neck, shoulder, or arms (from death-gripping your phone, of course), Dakota Muscle Relief is great for stress-tension. In addition to giving muscles a hot-cold sensation, the peppermint smell offers a refresh for your brain, so you can let go and refocus.
And be sure to get to your muscles before you get a tension headache. You may not have time for a bath or massage, but you have time for Dakota Muscle Relief!
