You’ve probably read (or seen a headline) about how school should start later to accommodate the increased need for sleep and changing circadian rhythms; but adults, your sleep is important too! Studies on workers have shown that health, happiness, and productivity are all tied to enough sleep (and specifically, a supported circadian rhythm).
How long should you sleep, and when?
Everyone needs sleep somewhere in the ballpark of 7-9 hours, where you fall is primarily determined by your genetics. If you are sleeping less than 7 hours, step in and support your body (try our Sleep Support Pack). It may be natural to sleep less as you age, but it’s not healthy, and may be associated with memory decline and fatigue.
If you need to sleep more, that’s ok, too. It just means that your immune system is getting some work done and your body needs rest. You can support yourself so you can get back to your regular sleep schedule with colloidal silver.
But what about everyone with a schedule that messes up their sleep?
Day and night cycles matter. Third shift (overnight) workers suffer from the lack of melatonin triggers when they sleep. If you can’t change schedules, set your room up with blackout curtains, no blinking phone lights, and a cooler temperature. Then make sure that you get some natural sunlight when you wake up.
If you have a variable schedule or other disruptions, get some extra support from our Sleep Support Pack, and try and make the most of the sleep you do get.
Our Sleep Support Pack has two products: Cal Mag Complete that has all the minerals your body needs at night, and Nite MGR with melatonin and other sleep supporting herbs to help you naturally fall asleep, and stay asleep.
