If you eat the average American diet, you’re probably a little low on vitamins and minerals. The recommended daily doses are enough to prevent severe deficiency, not enough for optimal health and well-being. When people get a little more Vitamin D, they feel a little more energetic and happy, more Vitamin B12, and they have better health. Copper is another one where a little more can make a difference. You can add a controlled amount of copper to your diet with colloidal copper.

Minerals like copper (as well as vitamins) should be present in food, but that’s not always the case. Certain growing techniques, the quality of the soil, and more can impact the quality of our food. Berries are one example—sometimes you buy berries with sharp, strong flavors, and other times they’re bland. Bland fruits or vegetables, or ones lacking color, are ones that are missing one or more nutrients. Potatoes are another example. Potatoes can be grown in very low-quality soil, so that’s where many come from. But just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should—you’ll probably have to go to the farmer’s market to find a potato that has met its potential, but it’s worlds different from what you’re used to—and the difference is the nutrient quality.

A multivitamin can generally cover your bases, so why give copper special consideration? The answer is aging. Copper has a critical job supporting making our skin and other tissue strong and supple (copper helps with the formation of collagen and elastin). Inside the body, it means that copper is helping our circulatory system stay strong and supple. Outside the body, copper is helping our skin stay strong and supple (meaning fewer fine lines and wrinkles). Some people have even regrown color in their gray hair after taking a little more copper!

The caveat is that you can have too much of a good thing, and don’t want to go overboard on the amount of copper you take. Some people may even have a rare genetic condition that causes their body to hoard the mineral, and shouldn’t take any. Colloidal copper makes it easy to control how much copper you use.

Alternately, you can support skin directly, by using it as a spray. The nanoparticles are small enough to penetrate skin, and deliver copper directly to where it’s needed most.

Help your tissue (inside and out) stay strong and supple with colloidal copper.
